Chlor AarI

This Chloramphenicol Backbone conveys antibiotic resistance in transformed bacteria. The backbone also contains a Blue/White marker which is flanked by PaqCI and BsaI cut sites. This marker is excised during Golden Gate gene assembly and replaced by a gene of interest, allowing blue/white selection of transformed colonies. This backbone was used as an intermediate to be transformed into E. coli, before a gene of interest was inserted into an agrobacterium-ready pLSUK backbone.
